Kathy – Bookkeeper and Receptionist
A Berkeley native and Chabot College graduate, Kathy has been part of this dental practice since 1989. Known for her warmth and professionalism, she helps patients feel at home from the moment they walk in. Outside the office, she enjoys music (especially Prince!), shopping, and time with loved ones.
Lai – Schedule, Financial, Insurance Coordinator
Born and raised in Oakland, Lai brings over a decade of customer service experience to our practice. She coordinates appointments and financial plans with care and precision, helping patients feel confident about their treatment. She loves exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her two children.
Janet – Registered Dental Assistant and Office Supervisor
A Bay Area native and graduate of Bryman Corinthian College, Janet has worked alongside Dr. Yip for over 20 years. Known for her caring nature and expertise, she ensures smooth clinical operations and helps every patient feel at ease. In her free time, she enjoys nature, writing, painting, and giving back to others.
Alina – Registered Dental Hygienist
Alina is a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings a refined, patient-centered approach to preventive dental care—helping you achieve and maintain a healthy, radiant smile.
She earned her dental hygiene degree from Chabot College, where she was recognized for clinical excellence with the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award and the Colgate Student Total Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award.
With a gentle touch and a calm, attentive presence, Alina creates a comfortable, elevated experience for every patient. She takes the time to understand your needs, providing personalized care and thoughtful education to support long-term oral health and overall wellness.
